Book blog about Alegiant

Tris and Tobias need to know what is outside the gate, and with Jeanine out of the way, they are free to go and they do. The few who dare to go outside the gate are: Tris, four, Cara, Uriha, Christina, and Tori, but only two of them live to the end of the book. When they finally find something outside the gate, they don`t know what to think. They are told that their entire life`s have been a lie. Tris learns that even outside the factions, people still form themselves in to groups. sometimes of good and evil. Tobias, without meaning to, joins the group of evil and is forever regretful. after this, Tris and Tobias relationship gets bad before it gets better. The group discovers that they have to sacrifice someone and everyone looks at Caleb but even if her brother was willing to kill her, can Tris let it happen to him?

Overall this book was REALLY good!!! It is also really sad and heart breaking. :( There is some mature language and content.

ocasional poetry

The dust is so thick, flying up all around me. my lips are dry and split and the babies cry from the hot and stuffy places inside the wagons. Heavy, tired feet are lifted and dropped all around me. we will never get there. To the green lands, and rich soil, to the cozy homes and happy families...  We have already walked for so long. 

Wagon wheels scatter the trail here where a few were town apart by the now dried up river, the possessions stolen and the family left with nothing... It sends a shiver up my spine. I must face it. I am scared. Scared like everyone else, I don't know how to overcome it and I the dream of the new land is fading. 

I see grass, not the faded bland dead grass that I have stared at for so long but fresh green grass that has grown strong and green and has flowers! The oxen pull at their harnesses and the men turn them out to graze while the children can finally run and play happily. we are here... Happiness grasps me and lifts me up, making my eyes bright and grateful tears drip from my cheeks.  

Ode to Napoleon (the Horse)

Ginger legs racing, hoofs pounding, dirt flying
my mind is empty, it is clear
thats what happens when we ride... past the gate we go, red and white main flying to brush my cheeks, tears well in my eyes  as I press my heels down and raise my body up, ipso that the wind curls through my hair and his.

I am running,I  look to the gate, flicking my mane at the girls face...
I stretch my legs and kick at the sand, I nimbly and gracefully, dodge the red jump.

I squeeze slightly with my legs and urge us around the ring one more time.
as we slow, the sun becomes just the sun instead of rays of gold and the wind becomes just a breeze instead of a rush of adrenaline.


we are walking and I stretch my neck down to blow at he sand and get a good breath.
My sides are heaving.

A smile plays at my lips and I don't notice the red of my cheeks or the swift beat of heart as i slide off of the little red pony.

Insurgent By Veronica Roth

This book is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!
fyi it was the one I was fingerling about in my last slice.

In this book, Tobias and Tris`s relationship grows and they start to trust each other a lot more but there are also some HUGE secretes that the keep from one another and someone Tris thought she could trust which her life basically tries to kill her. And Tris basically takes herself to her death which she later finds out is part of Jenean`s plot to kill of he divergents. by doing this, she practically kills both her AND Tobias.
I am giving some mature content/ language warnings about this book plus it is pretty gory and bloody.

my Favorite character is Tobias, shocker right? :)
He is a very strong and forceful character who you start to REALLY like in this book and the next one. I like how Tobias is still strong and able to look past his... bad past.

SOL April 9th

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I CANT BELIEVE THIS BOOK. 

FIRST Tobias and Tris are all happy go lucky ( or as happy go lucky as they can be) and they find out a bunch of wired things and stuff about erudite and then Tris WONT stop lying to Tobias AND THEN she runs off to Erudite to DYE after she promises tobias that she WONT!!!!!!! AND than she is all tortured and tested on but then the test don`t work and then Tobias is THERE and HE is gonna die TO.   AND CALIB is EVIL and working with Jeanine. AND TRIS IS DYING AND PETER SAVES HER!?!?!?!??!??!?!!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WHAT THE KECK!?!?!?!?!??!!?. Tobias thinks she is dead and then she's not. And that is where I'm gonna stop because ya.... 

oh ya somthing funny...

SOL book blog

This is a slightly weird book blog because it is about a script for a play instead of a book. 

Iris lives on a futuristic planet, on the island of Nocturno and the rulers are the great goods who live on a separate island. Each person on Nocturno has a past coat, a coat that contains their entire past. and rumer has it the great goods are looking for a daughter and son. basically without giving to much away, Iris is captured and her past coat is stolen. She does however, keep one button from it = one memory. She meets friends and journeys through finding answers to mysteries and making new friends ( and Enemys).
