Before Green Gables

Anne was born in a charming little yellow house with loving parents but three months after her birth a fever took the life of her parents and she went to live with her mother and father's old house maid (Mrs. thomas) and her husband Mr. thomas. but soon they prove to be cruel and mr. thomas is often drunk. by the time Anne is three she is put to work for her stay; washing diapers, cleaning, babysitting the younger boys, and cooking is her usual checklist. Anne has a particularly strong love for words and learning, and so when she turns six and is admitted in to school she finds friends and people who love her for the first time. but then Mr. Thomas loses his job and Anne must leave school and she hates the world. when she turns ten she finally gets shipped of to boarding school where she is forever happy.

This book was amazing and you really learn to love Anne. I recommend this book to anyone. there is no mature language and you cant put it down until it is finished.  the genre is historical fiction

when you reach me

When you reach me. by Rebecca Stead

Miranda lives with her mom and her soon to be step dad Roger who she loves. her best friend Sal lives in the apartment underneath hers. things start to change when a crazy guy moves on to her block and Sal starts to drift away from her, and then she starts getting weird notes from an unknown source who hints that he is a time traveler and that in order to save Sal and the unknown note writer's life she must write him a letter containing certain facts about her self and her life.

I really loved this book because it was set in normal modern day but it also had si-fi elements.
i would say that the genre is Si-Fi fiction. there is not really any grown up content or language but it still has a really good message.

Park doesn't know anything about elanor and her family so when frantically makes him drive her to her uncle's house he has to agree without knowing if he will ever see her again. The Goose Girl

the book that I chose for my first blog is called the goose girl by shannon Hale. this book follows the life of a princess who is traveling to a new village to mary someone who she has never met and so she can only hope for the best. in the middle of the road to this new town the princess is overthrown by her lady in waiting and many of her guards. and the lady in waiting forces her to switch places with her, so that when they arrive at the town it seems as though the laid in waiting is the princess. when they arrive princess Ani finds a job at the royal stables as the goose girl and pretends to be a servant when she reviles her true identity her newfound friends from the stables come together to try and get back Ani's rightful place.
I really loved reading this book and I recommend it to people who like animals and historical fiction.
