SOL #1 march first

SSSSCCRRREEEEEECCCHHh... sounds the old medal swing as i try and bundle my bare fists tighter together. i squeeze my cold eyes together and try and think of summer, sun, waves, warmth... but no its to hard even to imagine with the blank, grey, still air floating around me like like a boat on still water before a storm. the frozen metal of the thin bench slats starts to dig in to my legs and make them even colder. i stand up, look around, there is nothing new just the same old park, i blink my eyes and then flee to the house.

I will do the special part of this blog before i forget :) I chose this book because i love horses and horse books and historical fiction and because this book has bot of those i wanted to read it.i basically choose books the same way i always have, look for a good title and see what the back says then i usually read the inside cover.

Amelia was born to her mothers tripe with her first father who she cant even remember anymore (she is native american and this is a long time ago) because he left when she was a very young girl, then her mother was full of grief for a long while after until her second father came, a trader who liked to travel a lot and charlotte bright eyes was born. for a while they lived hapily but then her father sails away and there mother starves. the two girls live alone in there camp, being looked after by friends. then when a srange horse saves her life, Amelia finally has the chance to try and find her father and stay with the horse but should she go? what if her father is no longer there or even alive? what would her and her sister do then?  

Trading faces.

Payton and Emma mills have always been so close because they are identical twins. But then comes middle school and Payton and Emma are drawn apart through social lifes, studying etc. Emma is the brainiac and Payton is the fashionista but once Payton's social life gets put of control, they switch places at school but it doesn't stop there.

I really like this book. It is a really good pastime and a pretty quick read.

SOL

I shiver as the chilled sea water laps at my toes, making them turn red. I step foreword and turn around so that my back faces the eternity of blues green ocean and the water laps up to my knees. suddenly the water pulls hard against my legs and starts to swell up behind me, the water holds tight to my shins and pulls me in. I tug at my leg as the water builds up in to a huge wave waiting to swallow me up. suddenly, before I can start towards the shore the water flings itself over me and and sprays in to my face as if to blind me so that it can keep me under. instinctively my arms shoot up and grasp for air, but there seems to only be salty waves. then as soon as it came up, it rolls out on to the beach. I spit out the water in my mouth and wipe my eyes then stand back up, (the force of the wave had pushed me down.) when i look around, it is as if nothing ever happened and it is just another sunny day on a California beach.

Meg and Charles Wallace Murry have always been different, but now Charles is being bullied nonstop at school and suddenly falls ill. then he claims to see dragons in the vegatable garden and Meg becomes very worried. as she explores the thought of dragons with her brother, Meg discovers that there really are dragons in the garden but also a very strong evil force that is trying to take Charles. then Meg and charles are forced to embark on a terrifying mission to save themselves and Charles.

"Where are we going?" my five year old self complains. "yeah" my brother says. we had been quickly rushed out of the house, it is christmas eve and we are driving through the snow in Darango. Then we pull up to a train station. we jump out of the car and shiver in my pajama pants and coat. after waiting in  a long line, and begging our parents to tell us where we are, we board a huge gold trail titled The Polar Express I gasp in excitement, and my mind drifts back to my favorite book "The Golden Express" and "EEEEEEEKKK"  in excitement. as I step in to the train, I can almost feel the what seemed like christmas magic carrie me away.

11 birthdays

Amanda Ellerby and Leo Fitzpatrick are like brother and sister, they are best friends and have been their whole lives.

It started back on their first birthday when they were accidentally put in the same room at the party palace. then it happened again and again until they couldn't imagine not having their party together. then al of that changes on the night of their tenth birthday. Amanda is walking up the stairs to find  Leo for cake and then she hears her name from behind the door. and she hears Leo and a couple popular boys teasing him about her. then he says that he doesn't actually like her or want to have their parties together. why Amanda does not know is that Leo was lying to impress someone.

they don't say a word to each other all year after that and the curse takes effect. that would be why Leo and Amanda both find themselves reliving there horrible birthdays apart 11 times... over and over again.
